Celebrate Halloween with Trick or Treating at Willow Lake
We have always followed the Georgetown guidelines and this year is no different.
Georgetown Trick or Treating is Monday from 6-8 p.m.
Residents who choose to participate are asked to turn on their front porch lights. This method has always worked well for us since some of our neighbors are part time, some people like participating and some do not.
We tend to get no more than 20 to MAYBE 30 children.
People are also reminded that the speed limit is always 20 miles per hour on Lakeshore Drive.
It is especially important to adhere to the 20 MPH speed limit during Halloween.
Walking and biking around our neighborhood is always a pleasure and many walk their dogs as well. Driving at or below the speed limit gives us more time to react to life’s little surprises.
