Willow Lake Homeowners Board Meeting
August 13, 2015 5 pm
Attendees: Cheryl Mitchell, Brad Hudson, Robert Lamontagne
- Reserve Study:
A discussion was held concerning the copy of the final Reserve Study document sent by Bob Wheatley from the Wayland Group, LLC. Various points had been clarified for easier comprehension. A separate executive summary was also included which is suitable for inclusion in the next quarterly newsletter from the board. It was decided that the entire Reserve Study would be available electronically via the web for those homeowners who wish to review the study its entirety.
- Financial Report:
The treasurer presented a budget review for inclusion in the next quarterly
newsletter outlining the increase in the yearly assessment that is necessary to
bring the reserves in line with the Reserve study.
- Annual meeting:
The Board discussed the upcoming annual meeting on Nov 7, 2015 which will be held at the Indian River Senior Center. It was decided that a request for topics would be listed in the quarterly newsletter.
- Additional issues:
- A decision was made to pursue filing a lien for nonpayment of this year’s
assessment against one homeowner. A meeting was held at the lawyer’s
office to initiate the legal process.
- Spraying trees at community entrance has killed the bag worms.
The next board meeting is scheduled for September 22 at 5:00 pm. Contact a board member if you plan to attend.
