Willow Lake Newsletter —– January 2016

Hello, Neighbors and Happy New Year.

This is a gentle reminder that HOA Assessments are due by January 31st.  The amount is $622 as approved by resident’s vote at the annual meeting in November.  You may choose to pay the assessment in two installments…$311 due on January 31st and $311 due on June 30th.  Dues should be mailed to Willow Lake HOA, PO Box 1897, Millsboro, DE 19966.

SNOW REMOVAL

So far, we have been lucky and snow has not been a problem.  In the event of a snowfall, these are the specifics of our contract.

  1. The plow company is Complete Tree Care Inc. They prepare to plow once snow reaches two inches and begin plowing at three inches.
  2. In heavy snowfall, they will plow and return and plow again if necessary.
  3. The company works on commercial businesses during the early morning hours and will not be here until late morning or early afternoon.
  4. You will notice that snow markers have been placed in the common area to prevent plow damage. You should place them on your property line as well.
  5. Frank Morris will handle all communications with the plow company.

RESERVE STUDY COMMITTEE

The reserve committee, under the leadership of Steve Kempe, has made significant progress in reviewing the study and preparing recommendations for clarification or amendment.  A new capital budget format will also be proposed.  Thanks to all the residents who volunteered for this committee and congratulations on your progress.

Many thanks to Robert Lamontagne for his years of service to Willow Lake HOA!

“SAVE THE DATE”…Saturday, November 5th, 2016 for annual meeting!!
